For the first time in over 4 years, I wish I could stay here just a little longer.

Of course it feels good to be showered with attention, to have freshmen knocking on my door at all hours of the day, and to do whatever the hell i want any time. But unnecessary freedom often creates a burden of too many choices, attention from my residents are only a poor substitute for quality time with my best friend, and hanging out with everyone else seems to serve merely as a distraction to what's obviously missing.

last night on duty was pretty bad.. stayed up till 5am. a brief summary of everything that happened-

1) guy covered in his own pee and puke passed out in elevator. doesn't live in sellery, doesn't know where he is. we think he had chipotle.. but we couldn't tell for sure.
2) fighting between one of my twins with this idiot who hangs out on 5A. they seem to really WANT to fight. maybe i should've just let them beat the crap out of each other.
3) same guy with his posse from 5A made their way down to 2A, and yelled at each other in the hallway. there was bitch-slapping and spitting.. i mean.. really, guys?
4) one of the house fellows got challenged for enforcing policy on her own floor.. that guy looked ready to kill.
5) 10A vs 5A fight
6) 10A vs 5A fight again- we broke it up
7) 10A dumps garbage on 5A, 5A dumps garbage all over 10A and the stairs
8) cops came, gave drinking tickets, and a pretty long talk
9) mentally unstable resident came into our office looking or ian's number and wondered out loud approximately 10 times whether pop's was open at 4am. no.

it was ridiculous, but it only made me love my floor more. :)
